Dynamic Play Sound

Overview

This workflow object triggers the playing of a pre-recorded sound file depending on a specific value provide.

1. Add Workflow Object

1. Open the Workspace.

2. Select Workflows from the Resources menu.

3. Select a workflow from the list displayed (you can also create a new one). A schematic representation of the workflow is displayed.

4. Click the Add Workflow Object button. The New Workflow Object dialog opens.

5. Select Dynamic Play Sound from the drop-down selection list.

Prerequisite

An existing play sound list that has all the sound recordings grouped

2. How to create a Dynamic Play Sound Playlist

• Go to Resources > Files. When you select the Dynamic Play Sound tab you will be presented with the following screen

• Click Create new playlist to create a new dynamic play sound playlist.

• Enter a title and Click Save and Go to be redirected to the Edit page 

•  Click Upload a sound file to upload files to the list. You can add multiple files by using Ctrl+Click when in the Select Files dialog

The sound files should be WAV, uncompressed (RAW) PCM encoded files with 16-bit precision and Mono 8000 Hz Sample Rate.
